ABOUT US

David SevieriAllied Communications LLC celebrated a 25th anniversary on June 1, 2018. It doesn’t seem possible that I started this business over 25 years ago. Time sure flies…. I graduated US Air Force Telephone Switching School in 1985. While I was attending 362X1 school Divestiture took place in 1984.
BY 1987 I also graduated from US Air Force Standard Installation Practices Training as a Distinguished Graduate; as well as NCO Preparatory Course. I was asked to teach both courses.

These were all life changing events and set me on a path to a career in Telecommunications; as well as a quest for learning as much as I could about this fantastic opportunity.

I am proud to have served in both the US Air Force and the US Air National Guard. I was honorably discharged as Sergeant Sevieri in 1990.

In late 1988 while serving in the Air National Guard, I was hired by The Telephone Man Inc. I was hired at first for my installation knowledge. However, it was soon apparent that I had a great talent in training and selling commercial telephone equipment. Within 90 days I worked on straight commission and have not received a normal paycheck since.

As the saying goes “I was in the right place at the right time.” My employment was nothing short of stellar. I really enjoyed selling ethically, and by sheer luck started selling Panasonic KX-T / KX-TD equipment. I still sell and service this equipment, and still have many of the same clients.

In 1993, I founded Allied Communications LLC. Due to my extensive education and related documented trade experience. And after taking and passing the New Mexico Construction Industries Divisions Electrical Engineering Exam the first time, I was granted an EE-98 license # 59782. Before getting a business license I also had to take and pass the State of New Mexico’s Albuquerque Career Institute class and exam. I also had to be bonded and insured. It takes a great deal of perseverance.

The Telephone Man Inc. and Panasonic was great places to start. Panasonic provided great basic equipment that lasted for years. However, things have changed. And Allied has changed too!

In 2006, NEC Corp contacted me and asked if we would like to become an authorized reseller. After an extensive interview, Allied became eligible to attend NEC Aspire training and certification. We were confirmed in May of 2006. In addition, we are authorized and certified in the NEC UX 5000, NEC DSX, and most recently the NEC 2100.

It is my opinion NEC is a far superior product and has many more features.

Throughout the many changes over the years, one thing has remained the same, and that’s me. I have continued to operate Allied Communications LLC in the same manner as I did when I started twenty-five years ago. The same attitude towards customer service, the same assurances from me to sell and install only quality telecommunications wiring and equipment, and most of all my commitment to you. When you need me, I will be there.
